A broken key doesn’t always mean a new lock

I assess whether the broken piece can be removed and the lock kept. A saved-lock extraction is usually £65, with the actual quote depending on the work needed. If parts need replacing, I explain the scope and total before starting.

Changing keys or fixing a fault

For a straightforward standard euro-cylinder change, the usual price is £80–£110 with supplied keys and fitting. A door that won’t lock may instead need adjustment or another component repaired.

If you’re locked out, ring directly. Prices don’t rise at night, weekends or bank holidays. There is no call-out or distance charge, and my work carries a 12-month guarantee covering parts and labour.

Great service! I rang Bret to give me a quote on a lock that my key kept getting stuck in, he said he would be about an hour he kept me up to date with a message saying 30 minutes away within the hour he was here. If ever you have any issues with your door or locks at home, Brett is your man for the job. Honest , reliable and trustworthy and he completed a top top job.
